You met Dakota?

On the last day at one of our portable camps last week I mentioned to the children that Miss Andi and I had gotten to meet the real Dakota and had our pictures taken with her. One of the little boys, who had been particularly animated throughout the camp yelled out, "Dakota is a real dog and you got to meet her!", and then said, "I wish we could have our pictures taken with her." My reply was, "well the real Dakota lives in CO, but sometime in the future you might be able to get a Dakota plush toy and have your picture taken with her, will that do?" His reply was, "Well, I think I will go to CO and meet her myself?" So, get ready to say "cheese" Dakota!
